Harvest 2017 - some comments

Early harvest due to a very dry season with some spring frosts, isolated hailstorms and summer heatwaves. We started on the 28th of August with Merlot grapes: smaller bunches, highly concentrated juices. We ended the harvest picking up Sangiovese last week.

Now it is time for racking and waiting, we will keep you updated about the new wines!
